As Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Rob Cassetti focuses on a wide range of strategic initiatives, including go-to-market planning, acquisition integration, business development, channel development, product integrations, demand generation, pricing and new markets. A champion of civic technology, he speaks at national and industry events on topics including open data, smart cities, civic engagement and innovation.
Rob brings 20 years of extensive sales and management experience in the public sector market, 14 of which were spent at Fortune 500 worldwide IT leader Cisco Systems in Silicon Valley. As Director of Service Sales, he oversaw sales for Cisco's $300M business of hardware and software maintenance plus advisory and professional services for Cisco’s State & Local Government & Education (SLED) market.
Previously, Rob served as the Senior Sales Manager for the U.S. Public Sector segment of Cisco's WebEx division, where he built a team of Cloud Collaboration Sales Specialists across the U.S. focused on Federal and SLED customers.
Rob holds a Master of Arts degree in English Education from Columbia University, Teachers College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from New York University.
