Responding with COVID-19 Solutions
Over the last month, we heard from customers about some of the most critical challenges they need to solve –and solve fast– to keep operations running and citizens safe and healthy during the aggressively growing crisis. In response, Accela’s product experts developed a suite of Accela COVID-19 Response Solutions. The cloud-based solutions are designed to help all governments (not just our customers) navigate new modes of business operation during “shelter-in-place” and “social distancing” mandates, enable newly remote staff members to work effectively from home, and ensure that critical government services continue to run digitally.
Covering the Virtual Basics First
Through our discussions with customers, we identified the two biggest ways Accela can help agencies right now: help enable a remote workforce to continue providing citizen services digitally, and help agency staff conduct remote inspections.
From online citizen services that enable government agencies to mitigate public health risks that could occur via in-person interactions at city or county offices, to mobile inspection and virtual inspection capabilities to help field workers continue critical, timely inspections or construction projects as scheduled including inspections for temporary structures or medical facilities, each of the COVID-19 Response Solutions are specific to the needs of response efforts and can be rapidly implemented in as little as 24-72 hours, depending on the solution. They include any necessary training as well as free, live, instructor-led video training courses for customers and new users to enable them to leverage the new technology properly.
