Accela Appoints Software Veterans to Executive Roles in Finance and Customer Care

Bruce Duner joins as Chief Financial Officer and Jonathon Knight as Chief Customer Officer

SAN RAMON, Calif. – October 3, 2017 – Accela, the leading provider of cloud-based productivity and civic engagement solutions for government, today announced the appointment of two software veterans to executive roles within the Company, including Bruce Duner as Chief Financial Officer and Jonathon Knight as Chief Customer Officer. Each brings more than 25 years of senior-level leadership experience to their respective positions and will work closely with the existing leadership team to influence how the Company delivers cloud-based solutions to government agencies of all sizes worldwide.

Bruce Duner joins as Chief Financial Officer and brings more than 25 years of proven finance, administrative and general management experience in helping companies grow. Prior to Accela, he was with Bomgar Corporation where he served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was the SVP & CFO of Surgical Information Systems, LLC (SIS), SVP & Chief Accounting Officer at Mariner Health Care, and SVP & CFO at Wonderware/Invensys, an international automation software business.

As Chief Customer Officer, Jonathon and his team will be responsible for the successful deployment and ongoing support of Accela’s customers. This includes establishing metrics for Accela’s customer relationships, managing how products and services are delivered to customers, and helping to define and streamline the Company’s overall operational approach. Jonathon most recently served as VP of Global Services and Customer Care at Ooyala, and has held executive customer and services management roles at SaaS and enterprise software firms including, Infinian Technologies, Agile Software and JRG Software, Inc.
