These responsibilities include enforcement action, pursuant to the authority delegated by the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), under the County Environmental Health Act (CEHA). Regulatory programs under CEHA include Air, Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, Noise, Pesticides, Solid Waste, and Safe Drinking Water.
